I was originally planning on making other pride versions but never got to it, maybe I'll
eventually start making them you'll just have to wait and see.
I made this one because I stumbled upon an animation that looked like this one on gifcities they go by badass buddies to my knowledge and it just latched onto my brain so I started making little animations in the same style.
From what I have gathered is that people used these icons as a sort of profile picture on AIM also known as AOL they were used to send messages to people kind of like Discord. I'm not the most knowledgeable on AOL because I was very young when most people were using it. there are a couple of sites still up that host badass buddy icons but just warning you some of the icons are are pretty edgy

sadly the current site kind of sucks its just a white page now with an image of a bunch of icons and text that says "BadassBuddy Remember when the internet didn't totally suck?" its totally awesome they deleted their whole site to put up a message to be sorry for themself.
